The show was fucking brilliant, Mr. Kelly. Awesome. Totally makes up for that bullshit earlier in the week. Oh yeah. Me and my boyfriend got in line at 3 pm, and were number 103 in line for the LP. Talk about lame. Fucking line cutters and kids that got 2 copies. End complaint now. Whoo!
The show was great, but yeah, lots of line cutters and cheaters ruined the whole 7" give away. I showed up a few hours early just to watch at least three seperate pairs of kids cheat their way into getting several copies of the record. When I went to move my car (since I had no reason to be so early at that point), I watched one kid indivually wrap five of the records in carboard shipping envelopes. Bullshit.
Of course, this is totally out of LA's control, and wathing them play 30 or so songs was pretty great.
If someone had bought me a plane ticket, I might have been willing to punch one of those kids in the face for being greedy pieces of shit.
I'm still willing to work something out.
Definitely an amazing show. I am glad that I got to experience it! I wasn't early enough to get a vinyl, but I did get a poster. Here is to another ten years!!!!
Sounds like the vinyl was good intentions ruined by greedy fuckers. Sigh. What can you do? Like someone said, it was out of TLA's hands. But such a limited number and a full house creates the perfect storm of greedy little assholes.
This DVD better be awesome and widely available (eg. NOT limited to 5 copies), because the emotional pain of missing this show is almost worse than the physical pain of my surgery. Also, I'd love to see what the set list ended up being.
The DVD crew put their camera on me when I was standing in line. Had no idea what to say, so whatever I said was pretty lame. Doubt it will make the final cut. I'm with ya, J.A.F. on having that "feeling" at a show for the first time in a long time. Hard to explain, but after seeing the arms an awful lot in the past 8 years something about this show brought back all those wonderful memories. Also helped add to the emotional impact that BK choked up so many times. Great times.

Show was awesome. I thought this was my one chance to maybe hear corpses of our motivations live, but i got to hear the bass line to nuts nuts we want nuts so that was cool. I'm sure the after party was amazing, I could have gotten in line early as I was at my sisters apt all day which is right around the corner but I had to make the hard decision to ignore the line until it was obviously too long as I had to drive 8 hrs at the ass crack of dawn. If I had actually gone to it I would have either missed work in addition to pissing off my wife or driven my car into someones porch at 6 am. I was, however, dissapointed to not see any drunken hangers on from the night before not stumbling around my car when i left this morning. All in all in was a great show, besides I got fucked up enough and had a crazy enough time at the new years show last year to make up for just chillin this time.

u got wasted at a wedding, and i got wasted in an alley behind a restaurant where i work…i told the owner where i work a story of when i was beer bonging Red Dog out of 2 story beer bong and my friends put mineral oil in…i shit my pants at work the next day. The best part of telling the story is how he didnt laugh and i did.
Holy shit, there aren't even words to express how fucking amazing and epic that show was, my ears are still ringing and have no voice as it should be. Flew in all the way from Jersey and met my buddy from Virginia – man totally worth every penny.

I'm so happy they did 106 South. I also am really happy that they did Chapter 13 and Ramblin' Boys. Other than, That set list makes me care less that I thought "I'm not going to vote, I'll let the people that will actually see this vote and get what they want" only to realize I could have voted for what songs I wanted on a DVD.

Things just get a lil' too deep into the realm of Heston when the term epic gets thrown around too loosely. So unless I didn't get all the appropriate information about the show and there wasn't a group séance that brought Heston back from the cold embrace of the tomb only to ascend (I use ascend because a dude this awesome had to end up in hell) onto the stage of the Metro at which point he began doing that Vanilla Ice dance while TLA provided the backing of 'Go Ninja Go Ninja Go' which culminated in him fellating a man who was dressed up as Krang (it would later be determined that the man was Mike Park) all before heading back to the underworld then I don't really see how any show could be called epic.
